Czech-Vietnamese cloud rapper Anki is one of the most original voices on the Czech rap scene. He has completed several tours across the Czech Republic and Slovakia, played sold-out shows, appeared at numerous alternative festivals, and performed multiple concerts in Vietnam. His work has received strong critical acclaim, and he successfully turned a nomination for the Vinyla Music Awards into a win in the Album of the Year category. Themes of poverty, life on the margins, changing social conditions, and personal identity intersect in his music with a need for honest self-expression, free of posturing or affectation.

His debut album Saigon Stories (2020), released in Vietnamese, was met with enthusiastic responses both in the Czech Republic and Vietnam. The follow-up album No More Drama, his first project in Czech, earned a nomination for the Vinyla Music Awards. His most recent record, I WANT TO FEEL SAFE (2024), won Album of the Year at the Vinyla Music Awards and also converted nominations at the Anděl and Apollo awards. The album’s lyrics address sensitive social issues such as domestic violence, while also exploring themes of inner peace, love, and contemporary political concerns.
