The Metronome Prague Festival has had another extremely successful year. Over the course of three days, nearly fifty artists and musical projects across genres performed on seven indoor and outdoor stages. The programme offered not only concerts by stars of the world scene, including Alanis Morissette, Rag'n'Bone Man, Die Antwoord, The Streets and Tommy Cash, but also recent musical discoveries such as the singer Nxdia or the band HotWax. The festival built up until Sunday morning, when legendary German DJ Timo Maas, Township Rebellion and Kollektiv Turmstrasse rocked the last visitors. The atmosphere of the whole weekend confirmed that this year's edition was a "spectacular ride". Thanks to a carefully designed dramaturgy and top-notch facilities, the almost sold-out capacity of the Prague Exhibition Grounds experienced an exceptionally intense musical programme and an overall comfortable festival environment. Metronome Prague will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year and preparations are already underway to announce the confirmation of the first major international stars and some unique Czech concert specials. They will be announced at the end of the summer. Pre-sales for attendees are already underway, with the public launch on Wednesday 25 June 2025.
"We are very happy not only with the concerts themselves, but also with the atmosphere in the whole area, which for three days was filled with visitors sharing the joy of music and art with us," says David Gaydečka, one of the festival organizers. "We are grateful to be able to host Metronome in this special place - in the centre of Prague, in the middle of Europe. This year's edition was defined by star concerts, dance DJ sets after midnight, a rich artistic programme and a varied gastronomic offer. And since next year will be the 10th anniversary of Metronome Prague, I can already promise the biggest edition in our history. The first major names have already been confirmed and we will start revealing them at the end of the summer. We are looking forward to all those who will put the third weekend of June in their diaries right now and maybe even take advantage of the special ticket offers that are on sale now."
