MILKY CHANCE

Milky Chance - a German duo consisting of childhood friends Clemens Rehbein and Philipp Dausch - currently boasts 13 million monthly listeners on Spotify. They rose to musical prominence in 2013 with the hit "Stolen Dance."

Milky Chance incorporates elements of folk, reggae, and jazz into their albums. The group openly acknowledges the influence of musical icons such as Bob Marley, Ray Charles, and John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chili Peppers on their work. Over their 10-year career, Milky Chance has released four studio albums. Their 2013 debut, "Sadnecessary," was a significant milestone, earning them fans worldwide and initiating global touring. Their subsequent successful albums, "Blossom" in 2017 and "Mind The Moon" in 2019, feature collaborations with notable names like American singer-songwriter Jack Johnson and the South African male choir Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

Recently, Milky Chance decided to assert their artistic independence, leading to the release of "Trip Tapes," an official collection of remixes, demo versions, and cover songs originally part of the soundtrack for their viral series "Road Tripping Radio." This decision also provided them with the opportunity to support environmental sustainability through initiatives like Milky Change, which plants trees to offset the carbon footprint of travel, and the creation of more sustainable merchandise. Their newly gained artistic freedom is best exemplified by the unique energy flowing through their latest album, "Living In A Haze."
